Taming the voice of your inner critic and forming a kitchen cabinet with Susan Peppercorn

Today I am speaking to Susan Peppercorn.  I first met Susan nearly a decade ago, and she has been a friend and mentor ever since.  As a career coach who helps clients seeking more meaning in their work and lives, she is familiar with that self-sabotaging voice that questions who we are to not only dream but to pursue our dreams. Susan shares how she has learned to recognise the voice of her inner critic for what it is and how she surrounds herself with her personal board of directors (a.k.a. a kitchen cabinet) to support her.

You can find out more about Susan, her writing, and career coaching on LinkedIn or on her website, www.susanpeppercorn.com

The books, articles, authors, and thought leaders she mentions in this episode are:

Designing Your Life -  by Bill Burrett and Dave Evans

Go Ahead and Fail in the Atlantic  - by Arthur Brooks
